「ローラーコースターを走るライダーをつくろう」

Make Cars for the Roller Coaster

どなたでも参加できます。

ロームスクエアに出現した巨大ローラーコースター型の作品を見ながら、自分なりのライダーを思い描き、作者のオスカー・ピータースと一緒にアイデアをかたちにしていきます。

うまくいけば、完成したライダーが早速ローラーコースター上を滑走する姿を見られるかもしれません！

This is a workshop open to all.

While viewing the roller coaster-themed artwork, participants imagine their own original cars and work with the artist Oscar Peters to give shape to their ideas.

If all goes well, they’ll see their finished cars gliding on the roller coaster as soon as they’re completed!

日 時：①10月2日（土）②10月3日（日）

両日とも定員に達したため受付を終了しました。

会 場：ロームシアター京都・ロームスクエア内（屋根のある屋外スペースでの開催）

対 象：小学生以上

定 員：1日5名（要事前申込・先着順）

参加費：1,000円／1名（付き添いの方は無料）

講 師：オスカー・ピータース（アーティスト）※逐次英和通訳あり

申込方法：専門申込フォームよりお申し込みください。（8月26日より受付開始）

※ グループで申し込む場合は、グループで1台制作か、1人1台の制作かを申込フォームでお知らせください。

※ 当日は工作作業を行いますので、汚れてもよい服装でご参加ください。

※ 雨天により作品が休場となった場合も、ワークショップは開催します。

※ 講師のオスカー・ピータースはオンライン参加となる可能性があります。

Venue: ROHM Square, ROHM Theatre Kyoto (at roofed outdoor area)

Instructor: Oscar Peters, dot architects (architect unit)

*Workshop in English with Japanese interpretation.

Age of participants: Elementary school and above

Capacity: Five participants per day

(advance application required, accepted in order applications are received)

Fee: 1,000 yen per person

Please apply using the designated application form.

(Application form will open on August 26)

* If applying as a group please specify in your application form whether your group will create one car together or one car each.

* Participants will be creating crafts, and should wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty.

* The workshop will be held even if the artwork is temporarily closed due to rain.

* It is possible that instructor Oscar Peters will participate remotely online.
